Advantages: it paves a way for students to have a deeper understanding of their cultures and they are able to introduce their cultures.
Disadvantages: it does not provide opportunities for students to compare their cultures and other cultures.

Advantage: It makes students be aware of the differences between their own cultures and other cultures.
Disadvantages: it cannot attract students' attention.

International culture material: 
Advantages: Developing their understanding of varieties of English, functions of the language and different pragmatic norms

Source culture materials:
Advantages: This help students further explore their own culture and explain their cultural elements to others.
Disadvantage: Lack of chances for building the sphere of interculturality, if it is desired, it is highly dependent on teachers.

Target culture materials: 
Advantage: Using target materials may be motivating to some students. And the authenticity is guaranteed.
Disadvantage: Not all learners are interested in the target materials. Some content may be irrelevant to learners and even cause cultural conflicts.

International culture materials: 
Advantage: It helps better understand the fact that English as an international language. It also illustrates the cross-cultural pragmatics.
Disadvantage:
Students may not understand the cultural content in the material, teacher may have difficulties in explaining it, if not well handled, this  method lowers the understanding of the culture.

+) Advantage: the given material allows learners to reflect on the traditional holiday in their own country. Learners know how to talk about their country's culture using English.
-) Disadvantage: learners lack the information of other countries' cultures  -> no sphere of interculturality can be created; learners may find the lesson demotivating as information given in the lesson is not new to them. 
Material B
+) Advantage: Leaners have chances to gain new cultural knowledge of the country, where the language they are learning is spoken; new knowlege makes students interested in learning
-) Disadvantages: Teachers may find it difficult to handle the material. It might limit students' views on culture of the Inner Circle countries only -> no sphere of interculturality
Material C
+) Advantages: Learners have an open opportunity to be exposed to different cultures shared by the whole world; they have chances to reflect on their culture.

-) Disadvantages: Teachers may lack the comprehensible knowledge of the varieties of cultures.
The view of that culture is quite homogenious, not diverse.
