I liked informing the 2nd graders on how they could help out the animals. But, we threw a little twist into it. We but index cards with either pollution, motor, or fishing lines. If the kids had fishing lines on their index card, they would come with me and we would talk about it. Motors was with Emmy, and pollution was with Keyla. After that, we came back together to all talk about what harmful things motors, fishing lines, and pollution does to manatees and animals in the ocean.
