Rosa Parks was a great role model and she sacrificed so much for freedom. She was hated for her skin color and when she attended a public bus in 1955, everyone told her she couldn’t board but she stood for what she believed in and set a new standard for black people. Because of what she did the Rosa Parks Act was passed allowing people in Alabama to clear the arrest records of boarding a bus as a black person. When she was 11 years old she attended a white school and people protested and hated but she then became known for her courageous steps to become a great freedom leader.
