we chose the Australian curriculum which included a seven-lesson Science unit the Great Barrier Reef designed for 4-8-year-old, Indicate four detailed lesson outcomes and several branches out from it.
Moreover, the plan supports role-play, which enhances students’ language, emotional, and social development. Other activities focus on students’ physical development, to assess the students in this curriculum by the end of the 7 lessons the students will be able to answer these questions:
1. Where is the reef?
2. What lives in the reef?
3. How does energy flow through the food chain?
4. What is biodiversity?
5. What is the indigenous use and significance of the reef?

In addition, the learning outcomes are depth & orderly, and sequential the information is organized from the simplest to the depth and most intricate so that information becomes clear to the pupils
Furthermore, The scope includes the content, learning experiences, and activities as the sequence completing the topics and acquiring abilities in a sequential manner that takes into consideration the students' comprehension.
This curriculum will improve lots of skills as well:
1. Children are connected and contribute to their world.
2. Children have a strong sense of well-being.
3. Children are confident and involved learners.
4. Children are effective learners.

Why it's important:

Evaluation is vital as it allows the teacher to summarize how well students received the new concept that is being taught. In addition, it will allow the teacher to guide students' development throughout the semester and she will get a clear view of what she needs to focus on in the further lessons. (Byler, 2004)

The gap:

In the ECE MOE curriculum, the evaluation part was not given much attention as it says that teachers should evaluate students by observing and writing notes only. Which is not clear and persisted.

Why it is a gap:

By going to my teaching practice I understand that when observing by only writing notes teacher will not have the ability to check each student's understanding and even if she does, she may make mistakes because some students will not show interest during the teaching time but when they have their worksheets, they will do amazing. Because at the first week I was observing by looking but when I started teaching I changed my mined about many students understanding level.

In addition, the teacher will not have a scale on how the child understands the concept she will just have three options (understand, not understand, still in prosses)

After reading about the Pickle Jar Theory that is developed by Jeremy which defines as ” based on a time management technique that prioritizes tasks and responsibilities in a specific order.” (Clockify, 2020), I understand that providing a clear time frame will not only keep all schools on the same page but it will guide the teacher to take the most benefit of a lesson without running late or skipping some important activities or spend more time on a specific objective. Moreover, it will allow the teacher to finish the lesson on time.

From my teaching practice:

Although from my teaching practice, I found that my teacher and the other teachers who were teaching the same subject were not on the same page which shows they have a time management gap.

The gap in the curriculum:

from what I have read I did not find any time frame, nor for the semester, weeks, month, or even throughout the activities. I found out that all the lessons were planned without taking considering the timing.

Why it's important

The outcome is the larger goal and aim for each unit. By knowing the outcome it would be easier for the curriculum writer to set clear specific objectives that are related to the main outcome. Because when you know the conclusion you will know how to achieve it. (Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation, 2022)

From my teaching practice

My teacher understood what is the main outcome of the unit and she managed her own style and sequence to deliver it. So she has the ability to focus on those small objectives to achieve the big goal by using some of her methods that suit her student's level.

The gap

In this curriculum, I did not find the outcome I understand that this unit is about the earth and I understand that these are English lesson plans and I the objectives were about improving English skills. But I did not have any idea about the main outcome for the whole unit as it was not mentioned.

From my teaching practice I have seen my teacher uses the following as I mentioned before it will be more professional if the teacher has physical evidence such as the following:

1- Cards

2- Files

3- Checklist

4- Logbook

5- Worksheet

6- Suitable quizzes that suit students' level

The teacher can benefit from the above by analyzing and showing them to the parents which will build good relationships between the parents and the teacher. (From my teaching practice my MST took all the above and put them in files and send them home with the child and ask the parents to sign that they have seen their child performance)

Lastly I strongly advise to use the observation tools because it will helps the observer to get more knowledge about a child's academic level, interests, view, personality, and more. It is powerful to have this information because it will help the observer to know what he can do to develop the student. As William and, Fromberg said that they have seen more significant improvements on the students who had observer teachers.

Because there are many factors that may affect the timing I suggest that the curriculum set times for the upcoming events such as:

School trips

School open days occasions

Foggy days (as I prefer to make them scattered for the foggy day which I have seen during my teaching practicum)

While writing the curriculum and paying attention to the above factors it will allow the writer to write a more applicable curriculum and allow the teachers to stay on track. Moreover, I strongly suggest providing timings for each unit for example the units of the earth should be finished by the end of this month. Also, provide timing for each lesson in that unit for example the plant lesson should take only two lessons. lastly, provide clear time for the group activities and put the minimum and maximum time average that can be spent during the activity center taking consider of active students, the student understanding levels, and management.

By going to Colbry et al. (2014) theory says that contributors of a group impact differently on the person and group stages due to turn-taking, cohesion, and the organization of work. Ask the teachers to set a meeting every two weeks to let them discuss what they have finished and what they have not in order to stay on the same page and check if you can change something in the current.

It's important to set outcomes as I mentioned before so my suggestion is to provide a specific page where you write the unit name and how many lessons should it take and the main outcome for the unit then write underneath the outcomes the objectives that are related to the main outcomes.

I suggest using the bloom taxonomy while setting the learning outcomes. "Bloom's taxonomy was developed to provide a common language for teachers to discuss and exchange learning and assessment methods. Specific learning outcomes can be derived from the taxonomy, though it is most commonly used to assess learning on a variety of cognitive levels"(Bloom’s Taxonomy, n.d.)

Otherwise, the UAE curriculum doesn’t mention any time on the whole curriculum.
The Evaluation of the UAE curriculum "observation methods" and on the other hand the Australian curriculum doesn't use any evaluation method might decrease the chance of enhancing the initiative's goals and objectives being achieved. Moreover, (Tasks) Technology was used in the Australian curriculum by displaying video and shared visual photos through the smart board obverse UAE curriculum used a traditional approach instead of a Technology Approach
Australian curriculum was clear they mention that the curriculum supports children from years 4 to 8 years old.
The UAE curriculum did not allocate the outcomes, and the international curriculum was listed and specific.

In this study, we chose to analyze the Alwarda school kindergarten curriculum school, especially in English subject and the theme is about the earth.

By implementing this curriculum students are going to explore the area around them and practice the development of their English skills. This curriculum has provided the teacher with enough information about each lesson and how to carry on the lesson sequentially to where in each lesson you will get different objectives that are getting deeper and more professional into the subject. Not only providing clear objectives the objectives are divided sequentially throughout the lesson to where some objectives need to be taught at the whole class center and the others are in the small group area. Moreover, the type of assessment that was done in this curriculum was written observations. However, the teacher was provided with what she needed to observe exactly. This curriculum divides each lesson into three parts whole group small group and center. This curriculum mustered resource competency because, in each lesson and each activity, there are enough resources and materials that are provided by the school. We need to mention that timing is not provided in this curriculum so the teacher needs to manage the timing on her own.
