I believe class divisions are not necessary and create unnecessary social divides, which harm the health of a civilization. Jealousy and other negative emotions can arise from class divisions, and if the division is significant enough, the lower class could rebel and cause chaos in the civilization.

Class divisions are necessary in order to keep civilizations in order and to maintain balance structures between different groups of people. It is easier for leaders to lead, workers to provide, and thinkers to create letting them operate more efficiently. Ancient civilizations such as Egypt and Rome are examples of civilizations that thrived with class divisions.

I believe if it is based on income or families, it is stripping away the potential from these people who are thought of as low in society.

I think that class divisions are necessary and healthy for a civilization because it helps to keep a type of balance. By having these divisions people are able to interact with other people that share some common goals. By seeing others with your same goals and resources it can lead to more motivation and success. Without these class divisions people might feel discouraged or out of place because they can not relate to the people around them.

Civilizations are the work of humanity to create the best and most stable life for humanity, and with them we are able to thrive together.

While there have predominantly been class divisions in previous civilizations, they have almost always ended up in some type of disagreement between members of different classes and a rebellion from the lower class divisions. This demonstrates that class divisions could be unhealthy.

The most famous example of groups that wanted to avoid private property and ownership are the communists, but there have been other groups such as a native American group that have lived for centuries without private property.

On the other hand, I believe there is a bit of a soft size limit, once a civilization gets large enough it becomes impossible for every person to agree with and respect the boundaries of a community dedicated to a type of sharing.

This is not correct, everything on earth has history in the same way as any other thing on earth, but I think that this could be true in that most of history that is important for everyone to learn comes from people in civilization. Other than the rare exception of a particularly important tribe or nomadic group, civilizations make up most of the history books, but that just means that the history of everyone else is just unwritten.

Yes, civilizations require a strong state because they give the civilizations the needed organization, security, and infrastructure to thrive. If a civilizations did not have a strong state and was governed by the people entirely how would they deal with threats that occurred. How would they deal with international relations. These problems are why a strong state is needed in civilizations.

I disagree with this statement because even without civilizations, humans are still social people whose natural tendency will be to group together. They will see it as a way to enhance their chances of survival and together fulfill the needs of the population. The existence of civilizations is just due to this tendency, and with the groupings including hundreds of thousands of people.

Civilization does not always lead to social stratification as socialist countries are built on the idea that everyone is equal and should have similar standards of living. Although in the real world many leaders of socialist countries seize power and create class disparity it does not mean it is inherently implausible.

Class divisions are unnecessary for civilizations, although they often form naturally from power imbalances within society. Hierarchies have existed in any society throughout history, whether formally, such as through a caste or feudal system, or informally, as a consequence of wealth disparities or other systemic issues. However, their existence does not necessitate that they are healthy to have. Class divisions ensure that there is a lower stratum in which individuals are subordinate to the aristocratic ruling class. Without social and economic power, social mobility is also difficult, keeping those in the lower class in that lower standing and deepening the divide between the upper and lower classes. This social stratification leads to unequal access to resources, with those from the lower social classes being taken advantage of economically and lacking the same opportunities as those in the ruling class.
