Research

We note that in the research folder and writing (to support both the topic and to support your design practice), you have a habit of simply pointing to things you like and fail to interrogate why precisely these ideas or examples are useful. We note the research folder was a very thin collection of references and was not documented to demonstrate analysis, understanding, and relevant decision-making linking back to your own practice. There were times when carelessly you interchanged gods and idols to your convenience.

Concept and Production

The proposal of a series of rituals connecting with props was poorly conceived and executed. The ideas lacked the conviction of a ritual (what principles of a ritual do you learn and employ for your own project). What is the difference between an everyday interaction and a ritual? You need absolute clarity on this. Equally the materials used for the props ( and devices ) were badly made and lacked authority – what professional tools and workshops did you use, and as we know the props were conceived very late and needed more time for iteration and cycles of reflection and improvement; altogether a higher skills level and more rigour with the thinking

3. Ritual action is that it is symbolic in relation to its reference. 

.In my project, a bullet screen serves as a way of emotional communication among fans and also becomes a symbol of identity identification of group members. Fans use fandom language to communicate and identify members within the group. However, due to the language and culture differences between English and Chinese, I cannot accurately translate it into English. When I translate it into English it may change the feeling？ Can I express it in Chinese?
Or through the way of narration bullet barrage interpretation. It's like a monologue to explain the story.
