Question 1: I think Miguel depicts Mexicans as " A brown group of manual labor" because when they go to a store everyone deviates from them, whenever there is a job in the field Mexicans are always invited and in the theater they create an enclosed section for them. The American's also see themselves superior to every other ethnicity. That's why some people call us American's ignorant.
Question 2: In my opinion,When Esperanza bought the pinata for Mama it brought chills. It's that nostalgic feeling when a child shows love to their family. This all contributes to the trajectory of Mama's recovery and a commemoration of the treacherous life where she could "sleep" or "survive".
Question 3: In my opinion, The most prominent part in the chapter was when Esperanza pinned Mama's hair and they said they loved each other. Esperanza assured Mama that everything was adequate and that she will pay for the bills.

Also American people even have an enclosed area in the theater for Mexican people.
Question 2:
My favorite part of this chapter was when Esperanza and Miguel went to the store and bought Mama a pinata.
Question 3:
The most important thing in this chapter is when Esperanza realizes that her hands don't look like a wealthy women of El Rancho de las Rosas but a poor campinas.

Question 1. I think Miguel sees Mexicans like that because some Americans made a stereotype that Mexicans aren't worthy enough for some jobs (which is super unfair).

Question 2. My favorite part of this chapter is when Esperanza is still working tying grapevines to help pay for her mother's medical bills, and Abuelita's travel. She has become a kind person :).

Question 3. My opinion is that the most important part of the chapter is when she stares at her hands and sees they aren't the hands of a rich girl, but of an old woman.

Question 1: I think Miguel sees Mexicans as described because they are mostly led to camps in the US and because he may have been treated harshly at the railroads. The US also discriminates against Mexicans bye separating them from others.

Question 2: My favorite part of the chapter is when Esperanza remembers taking Mama's hand after it was covered with an avocado lotion. I liked this part because it showed that Ezperanza does not only remember the bad parts of her life now. She also remembers the good.

Question 3: I think the most important part of the chapter was when Mama said "No matter what happens. You need to get away from the camp, Ezperanza." This is important because I tkink this is foreshadowing to what will happen next.

They think they are only good for manual backbreaking jobs like field working.
2. My favorite part of this chapter was when Esperanza was at the hospital seeing mama and braided her hair like it was in Aguascalientes for her to make her feel better.
3. I think the most important part of the chapter was also my favorite part of the chapter because Esperanza shows so much love for her mom and the last thing she needs is to lose her along with Papa and Abuelita.

I think the most important part in the chapter is when Esperanza finds out that her mom has pneumonia. I think it is important because it is something her mom has and you can die from it and you do not want to lose your dad and your mom that will just not be sad.
