EXAMPLE:

(and of course it is about Star Wars, don't blame me)

The Future of Star Wars Fandom in Sci-Fi and Gaming Culture

Science fiction has always attracted passionate communities, and one of the most enduring is the Star Wars fandom. This culture connects people who love movies, books, and games, but it is also a living community that organizes events and shapes identity.

First, there are clear arrangements for the near future. Star Wars Celebration is taking place in Japan next year, and several gaming conventions are going to feature exclusive Star Wars panels and tournaments.

Local fan clubs have also planned weekend screenings and online meetups where members are discussing theories about upcoming series. These events give fans a chance to express their creativity and share their passion.

Looking ahead, my predictions are optimistic. I believe Star Wars fandom will continue to expand beyond films into virtual reality, gaming, and digital art.

By the 2030s, fan-created content such as mods and independent animations will have become a major part of mainstream entertainment. I also think the values of the fandom—resistance, hope, and diversity—will influence how future games and movies are written across the whole sci-fi genre.

As for personal choices, I have made some decisions. I’ve decided to join an online Star Wars role-playing community because it combines storytelling and gaming. I’ve also decided to participate in a fan-art competition next spring, even though it feels challenging, because I want to improve my skills and connect with other fans.

Finally, my intentions are clear. I am going to write a detailed blog post on the connections between Star Wars and gaming culture, and I intend to create a short digital story inspired by Jedi philosophy.

These steps will help me explore not just the story universe, but also how subcultures give people a sense of belonging and purpose.

has emo ever died..?

emo is rather used as an insult, meaning said object is a little too edgy for current day liking. i use this phrase myself as a way of a soft self-burn. but in reality, it’s a huge community, a way people get to bond. in the 2000s emo had its peak, but now it’s resurfacing on the internet in new ways.

i'd consider myself a early internet access kid, so i got to experience its very late days and the last glimpses of the major bands before they disbanded. so i guess i have a say in this case! i also couldn't think of anything else.

one of the major arrangements i can think about from the top of my head is the upcoming MCR tour that's just recently announced a europe leg. it's super disappointing, they're only going to the uk, italy and spain if i'm not mistaken. for such a mainstream band that's pretty much branded a whole subculture, you'd expect something bigger and better.

my predictions are modtly about collabs in the music industry, big pop artists collaborating with just as big bands for fun. maybe in fashion, we'll see a bigger wave of an alternative effect, much more influential than how it was to daily life in the 00s. and on social media, classic emo songs like can you feel my heart by bmth or any other song of circa survive resurfaces rregularly. i can easily say this will be more frequent, and maybe normalized.

as for my personal choices, i've decided i'll be more open to different subgenres within the genre itself and try to discover new bands and see if i get to know any new ones. maybe i'll write a follow up blog praising gerard way though it's unlikely unless he comes up to me and handds me tickets to any of the current gigs.

this was super fun to write, thank oyu zeynep hocam for giving us the opportunity to deal with homework much more freely and in a way we can reflect ourselves. love love
