--Twice weekly log in to their typing.com account and complete one lesson at beginner level (14 lessons, each lesson has 11 sections)
--Twice weekly log on to Typing.com Games : Keyboard Ninja number pad
--Use shift, not CapsLock (Keyboard Climber is a good place to practice)

Anticipated misconceptions:
--continually pressing the wrong key  in typing lesson will prevent program form progressing 
--using CapsLock instead of shift for capital letters
--logging in to student account, not teacher
--spelling student account username and password correctly

Students should:
-Daily, student enters their name and student number in Istation
--Daily, students log off of their istation account

Anticipated misconceptions:
--difference between logging off and shutting down
--recognizing lowercase when keyboard only has uppercase
--navigating ipad keyboard (switching between letters/numbers screen)
--mouse control/accuracy
--closing multiple screens in order to be able to sign in to istation (see video tutorial)

--In each literacy unit, use the linked database to perform a guided search in support of literacy learning targets
--in each search, navigate back form a search to the homepage of the database using the back button

Anticipated misconceptions:
--Google is the only/best/safest way to search for something 
--Closing a window is the way to end a search when what is needed is to navigate back

Students should:
Create a product using Keynote or Google slides in a context that compliments a literacy/ss/sci unit

Anticipated misconceptions:
--Teach how to modify slide (background, font, etc) AFTER text is edited and image approved.
--Teach how to hover over images without clicking on them
--Teach how to launch a web browser(for image search, perhaps)
