• on march 18 2024, other practical students and I registered to the human resources office of the ministry of youth and sports at level 5. we need to fill in the agreement letter and security pass form.

• After that, Mrs. Izzaity gave a briefing on the rules and protocols of conducting practical at KBS. Then, other practical students and I were taken to their respective sections. I had to meet Ms. Azra in the management section at level 2. After a few moments, I was taken to level 13 Sports Development Division (BPS). Then I had a chance to meet Mr. Mohd Nor Hisyam also known as Cc Hisyam and he explained everything about the branches and units in this development section.

• I also met Mr. Sabran Bin Abd Bahar who is the director (PP branch) who placed me in the Sports Promotion and Development Branch (PP) under Mr. Ahmad Syammeil and some other male officers.

At the same time following the growing associational youth activities, then for the purpose of fostering and monitoring the development, the Youth Division was established under the relevant ministry. Besides that, under the Ministry of Information, a Sports Division has also been established.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports was only created on May 15, 1964 in conjunction with the National Youth Day that year. In 1972, the Culture Division was created and thus the name of the Ministry of Youth and Sports was changed to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports until 1987 when the Culture Division was transferred under the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism With the transfer of the Culture Division, the name of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has returned to its original name which is the Ministry of Youth and Sports, until now.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) has been mandated to implement the policies of the Malaysian Government, particularly in the development of Youth and Sports.
