I am a South African Christian, and I speak both English and Afrikaans. My cultural identity is shaped by South Africa’s diverse heritage, and my faith plays an important role in my values and outlook on life.

We switch from Afrikaans to English and Xhosa there I have not had a specific language. The different languages have made it difficult for me to have one specific identity . I consider myself a vessel for different experiences .

My parents raised me to always respect adults, older and elderly people and to not be disrespectful towards anyone that is a different race or religion to my family.
