You can almost feel death, can feel it’s warm embrace.
Fading out, and fading out again.
Cracked eggs, dead birds, scream as they fight for life.
Closed caskets, empty houses, you shouldn’t be afraid.
You can almost feel death, can feel its everlasting gaze
Mephistopheles is just beneath, He’s reaching out to grab me.
He is my sinner as I spin away, out of control as I slowly decay.
I shouldn’t be afraid, for the arrival at the pearly gates.
But black eyed angels pull me away, their cold hell awaits.
I can feel death, can feel it’s beady eyes.
Fading out, and fading out again.

The bitterness of one who’s left alone, Breathless and gone. And in my soul, you’ve poked out a million holes, but i'd never let them show. A threat to national security they attacked our democracy
Iraq, ‘Nam, Ruskies, Saudis, we bleed hypocrisy 

Sit down, stand up. Pledge allegiance to the flag
Big brother replaced the pawn with your dog tag

The so called global force for good
Abrams and shells litter my neighborhood 

Fear bleeds from the atom bomb, a million megatons 
We the people of the world, remember we are one.
