The goal of the OER is to provide a basic understanding in what is voice assistance and how it affects our everyday life. Materials and Methods: The Resources used in the OER are videos and articles on the topic of the project, mainly found online due to the nature of the ongoing pandemic and its restrictions set in place to stem the rate of new infections. Furthermore, the process of gathering information is faster with the internet than with other mediums. Information was mainly acquired through online papers on the topic at hand, newspaper articles and surveys on the topic, for example history of voice assistance,  privacy concerns and trends of consumer consumption and the impact on the market  Findings: Regarding the findings on the topic Voice Assistance, first off, the topic at hand is the definition and the history of voice assistance. How and when did the public first became aware of voice assistance and how long ago was it already a topic among scientists.  With the rise of the use of voice assistance in our everyday life peoples concern regarding privacy issues continues to grow. How exactly are people wary of it and why is it an issue. Lastly the focus of the OER shifts toward the applications of voice assistance and the market it tries to grow and access. Voice assistance will be something mostly people add to their daily use. It is a commodity people won’t get around using in the future, whether it will be in their privacy of their own home or their workplace. Conclusions: If the glaring privacy concerns will be addressed and dealt with, voice assistance has nothing to worry about regarding its future. Features of the OER: The OER features three presentations on the topic at hand.
