         <description><![CDATA[<p>A small, deep wound caused by a sharp point (nail, needle, animal bite).</p><p><strong>Initial Care:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Wash the area thoroughly with soap and water.</p></li><li><p>Apply pressure if bleeding occurs.</p></li><li><p>Do <strong>not</strong> close deep puncture wounds; they need to drain.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Post Care:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Monitor for infection carefully, since puncture wounds trap bacteria.</p></li><li><p>Tetanus booster may be needed.</p></li><li><p>Medical referral if wound is deep or caused by an animal bite.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A wound where tissue is forcibly torn away from the body, leaving a flap or complete removal. </p><p><strong>Initial Care:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Stop the bleeding with gentle pressure.</p></li><li><p>Clean the wound with sterile saline if available.</p></li><li><p>Cover with a clean dressing.</p></li><li><p>If the tissue is detached, keep it moist in sterile gauze and cool.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Post Care:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Immediate medical referral is needed.</p></li><li><p>Sutures or surgical repair may be required.</p></li><li><p>Tetanus vaccination may be needed.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
