1) We don't have a seder plate, but use the entire table as one huge seder plate. When it comes time to cover the seder plate we cover
the whole table.

2) At the seder we dip everything in the Charoset, we call it Duke'. We were talking about this
tonight and one of the big reasons is that the word Karpas in the Tanach means
a type of fine material. It's mentioned in Megilat Esther as a type of
fine special material. There are sources that say that Yosef's coat was
made out of karpas. Yosef's coat was dipped in blood to make it look
like he was dead. That started our path towards being in Mitzrayim.
As a way to remember the true beginning of our entering into Mitzrayim we
dip the karpas and everything else in the Duke'.

Sammy and I have a tradition of cleaning out the chametz and taking it to the Rainier
Valley Food bank.

We also buy him a new pair of "dressy" sneakers that he wears for the
first time to the first Seder.

Sammy and his cousins write and perform a skit at the 2nd Seder. (They actually talk Sam into it)

I have a tradition with my dad that the two of us sing Echad mi yodeah in it's entirety. We've been
doing that since I learned the song in Rabbi Levine's 2nd grade Hebrew class at
SHA. Lots of years!!!
