  • Learned about the paintball marker's parts.
  • Uninstalled the paintball mask and cleaned them. 
  • Was given task to find remaining arrows of archery combat in the battleground field.
  • Was introduced to water pump machines for pool.
  • Cleaned the outside of the pool with soap as it was covered with mud and sand. 
  • The new interns tried out flying fox.

    • After lunch, the archery location changed from the hill to the common place.
    • Commonly there are two lanes only but for Giti's event, we made four lanes.
    • Commuted back and forth from Main Hall to archery area; fetching and sending  participants back group by group.
    • Responsible for attending the participants (almost 40 of them) and taught them how to play archery.
    • Collected and counted points of each group and gave to Team Leader, Encik Fajrul for him to submit to organizer.
    • After the archery session ended, we tidied the area and put back archery bud, bow and arrows borrowed from team Tadom as team Ombak did not have enough of these archery equipment.

    • Collected and tidied Ombak Diver's stuffs such as archery equipment, paintball equipment, archery combat equipment and body covers and put back into the office and cabin stores.
    • Tidied everything at the usual hut and also the hut beside the battleground.
    • Took out clean canvas and covered the pool with it and tied with ropes.
    • Locked both of the cabin stores with padlocks.

  • I started to read the first module which was Try Scuba.
  • In this module, it explained briefly about how our bodies are affected with the increasing pressure in water, how different seawater and freshwater in terms of weight and pressure and techniques for effective breathing pattern in scuba diving.
  • This module also introduced us to the systems in scuba diving such as buoyancy system, information system and snorkeling system.

  • Then, I continued with the second module which was Blue Ocean.
  • In this module, it is divided into four academic sessions which were coral reefs, shark finning, ocean plastics and marine protected areas.
  • In Coral Reefs, it explained about the importance of coral reefs towards the sea ecosystem and overall environment. It also discussed about the current condition of coral reefs in results of overfishing and coral bleaching.
  • In Shark Finning, it explained about why the shark's reproduction cycle makes it vulnerable to shark finning and the history of how shark finning began. This module also listed out ways individuals and community can help to protect sharks and prevent shark finning.
  • In the third session, Ocean plastics, it explained about the environmental costs of using plastics and the origin of plastics, where did it come from. It also emphasized the bad effects of plastics on marine life.
  • In Marine Protected Areas, it described the purpose of a marine protected areas and how did it all get started. It suggested ways individuals can support marine protected areas as a tourist or a resident.

  • As for the last week of internship, I managed to finish reading the third module which was Scuba Diver.
  • In this module, it has three sections which are Your Body and The Aquatic Environment, Using Your Life Support Equipment Underwater and Breathing Gas and The Effects on Your Body.
  • This module also has quizzes at the end of every section. In order to proceed to the next section, we have to passed the quiz first.
