For this timelapse, I plan to work solo. I would like to go to Dobbins Point on South Mountain to take photos of the sunset this weekend. I would like to take photos of sunrise as well at camelback mountain this weekend too. I am also going to get some shots of some city life, most likely next weekend. I think a place I can go to do this is Tempe Town lake, where I can capture the sun, the lake, and timelapse all the people riding their bikes and walking along the lake. Lastly, I think a cool thing to do would be to to capture cars and buses, vehicles in general along a busy road during the night, where I can really capture the movement. In doing this, I would sequence each timelapse segment to where the video flows together by transitioning from sunrise to sunset, to night time.

I learned, while doing this project that creating a timelapse requires a lot more work than I expected. I tried to take a sunset timelapse at Dobbins Point at South Mountain, but didn’t have my camera set to Aperture Priority which either left the individual pictures overexposed or underexposed, but never just right. Aside from that, in all but one of my final sequences, my camera moved in the process, leaving the sequences shaky, which I did not want to happen. I believe that my mastery score is a 3. I think that I put in a lot of effort for this assignment, and I think that is evident because I captured a total of 12 sequences (only using 8 in my video), which required a lot of time, but I do not think I deserve a complete 4 because i was not able to master the skill of keeping my camera still.
