To prepare the students for this lesson, I have produced a video, where I talk about one of the paintings at Lillehammer Art museum. The lesson is going to take place at this museum the following days as a “Walk-and-talk” after they have seen the video on how to talk about art in English. 

The purpose of my video, is to show how the students can talk about the paintings they see at the museum, and give them some guidance on what to look for in the paintings. That way, I think it will be easier for the students to find something to talk about, and also provide the students with a more active approach to understand and appreciate art.

The goal is to make a context for the students as we have read a lot of texts, not in the correct order in terms of time. My pupils will watch this video as homework, and then we will use the material in preparation for an oral debate. I want to make the debate sort of a role play, for example making pupils member of white supremacy organizations and Black Lives Matter - and then come up with correct arguments.
