There is wide range of ways on how to group students. They can be grouped based on the cognitive level, interests, backgrounds, and other specific skills and abilities. These groups can be form in pairs, in three’s or four’s. I recommend grouping students in no more than 3 students in each group because studies show that smaller groups tend to have more positive results. To ensure the access to content via groups, I would assign specific task to each member, this will give each student a personal responsibility and will ensure that everyone cooperates. Through these group arrangements, students will be able to access information through peers in an unformal manner and will enable students to ask question and/or provide feedback.

Group Investigation
The group investigation strategy is a form of having students work together to accomplish a group project. The group investigation strategy emphasize a higher-order of thinking among the students as students are asked to analyze and investigate throughout the project. An example of group investigation would be a science project.
