An interactive sound sculpture that invites people to access and create soundscapes with sound archives - including oral histories.

In 2019 the British Library hosted ‘The Library of Ideas’, an event which opened up the potential of archives, including oral history archives, as sites of inspiration for artists and students to research and develop of their own artistic ideas.

Join us in building a home for true stories that honour the everyday lives of Asian American people — and pass the mic for everyone to represent their whole self.

Founded in 2015 by Renata Cherlise, Black Archives is a multimedia platform that brings a spotlight to the Black experience. Through an evolving visual exploration, Black Archives provides a dynamic accessibility to a Black past, present, and future.
