I was feeling like I was stuck with a poor plan for this brief. I woke up this morning with the dawning realisation that I have been focused in designing a 'Product' (old habits) to solve the need I identified in week 10, not a graphic lead solution. While I definitely am going to go ahead and try to meet this need, as I see it, a lack of ability to cross interact between houses in developments during lockdown, I am shifting aim a bit. Built on from my initial concept development, which intended to promote to cross household games and challenges, the next step is a broader audience system that facilitates specific household interaction in each neighbourhood. I am actually super excited now to have moved through the concept development (late though it is!) and gotten to what I think is actually a robust design idea. I'm trying to address the social problem of loneliness and isolation, by providing people with a platform to share their artwork in an 'Art-Pal' scheme (like a Pen-Pal scheme but with art) and encourage people to have fun with it.  'Canterbury Creative' is not just for people that feel lonely, it's also for anyone who wants to take part, so I  wanted the service to appeal to a wide audience. 

It's my first time making a video with Adobe Spark and using free stock footage. I worry that I haven't included enough of my own content. Also the video is only 1 min 30 seconds so I might need to pad it out a bit...

A branded cardboard viewer can be given out to those taking part which they can choose either to use or not. 

This viewer might bring an adoptive family closer as they interact with the AR headset at home with children, this could also be used as a way to teach the children of the responsibilities involved in looking after their potential pet.

RO-VR was a better product name but now it's AR I think this still gets away with it, you just have to talk posh-like when you say it…
