He was the first coach to make 2 million dollars. There was some one watching named Ernie Nadel. Nadel wondered why a coach was paid that much and made a book about it and sued the NCAA. After this the NCAA said coaches cant make more than 16k(other than football). Then the coaches sued the NCAA and won because Coaches should all be paid because of how much work they put in and not be restricted.

Unlike football and basketball, baseball and hockey have minor leagues that players can go to after highschool if they don´t want to go to college. Andy Oliver is one of them but wanted to go to college. The bad thing is that the Twins drafted him to play in the minor leagues but Oliver wanted to play in college for Oklahoma State. Later that summer the Twins offered 390k for Oliver but he still declined. Then because he didnt take the offer he fired the Barattas. The furious lawyers sent him a 100k fine which he took to the NCAA and won the case and got 750k

John rock was a sophomore at Gardener Webb a college in the footprints of the Blue Ridge Mountains. He really started to think about life after high school and his freshman year he red shirted the NCAA thought that he was the perfect student athlete. This is because he was a great person in the school and out. One day he got offered an internship in Raleigh for the spring semester. His coaches said that this was fine and then he went off to Raleigh happy. When he got back was a different thing they revoked his scholarship for another quarterback. He said ¨It was like a punch in the stomach¨ (206). In the summer he got a hearing about this but nothing happened. Rock was a key piece because it happened to multiple people. What we know is now the publication of Rocks case is still winding the way through the courts.

A seven foot center named Todd O´Brien transferred from Bucknell to St. Joe after his freshman year and sat out a season because the NCAA made him. Then his production went down by his senior year me avg. 1 point a game. O´Brien graduated with a major in economics but the good thing is he had 1 year left. So he was going to transferred to a school he could play at for that year and still study to get his masters. But St. Joe wouldn't let him saying ¨be playing at St. Joe next year or not playing anywhere ¨ (238).Then Sadly O´Brien never got to play college basketball again.
