MY DE : This is just the home page.
From this page you can create a class , try a strategy or build a board. Click on the individual activity , and then start exploring. Each will have a step by step guide for you. If you have a class in DE then you can assign work ( videos, activities , or assessments ) to the students and view them in the assignment management.
Streaming Plus : Streaming  Plus allows you to search by key words and then filter down according to grade and to different types of resources (  videos, images, text, interactives, lesson materials) The categories are at the top of the page : All, Videos, Boards, Image, Audio, Text, Interactive, Lesson Material. OR you can search By Topic. Click on English/ Language Arts; Math; Science; Social Studies; and More ( Health; Career; Research; Teaching Practices; Visual and Performing Arts; World Languages) Then find the category and either choose the Content Collections or Resources.
By Standards: Click on correct standard, then on a subject and grade. Filter down the standards until you come to hyperlink ( in blue) and view the resources.

The other button ( the Plus Sign) is for the Quicklist.  It is located on the bottom of the left hand corner of your page.

Once in your My Content you can pull resources to be assigned to students, or use resources to build a board , an assignment, or an assessment.

My Content is seen only by you. You can make folders, and folders within a folder.

You can filter down through grade levels, and find students by name. Once student is clicked on ( right hand side of page) they will be placed in your named class on the right hand side of page. You will be able to see the assignments that the student has been assigned. 
Once completed , they send it to you and it appears in the Assignment Manager.

Once they finish the assignments and are submitted they will appear in your Assignment Manager . If they are multiple choice they will be graded.You can view by class or by student. You will also be able to view any Board Builder that students made and submitted to you. You can actually search for already created questions on concept from Discovery Education. For example I search Spanish American War I found many multiple choice items to choose. You can also make your own questions and add them. There are a number of boards already made. ( Search topic and filter to boards) , you can make a board for your students or you can have students make boards for an assignment.
It is a step by step easy process. Choose your themes, add items, choose text styles, foreground and backgrounds. You can choose to add text boxes, media including images, videos, or interactives. You can hyperlink items and upload items outside of the DE site.
