The magnificence of this structure has few parallels.  I have seen this building on a hill (Capitol Hill that is) in the scorching sunshine, radiating the brilliance of the sun.  I am also grateful to have felt the exhilaration of losing sight of this hauntingly beautiful building in a snowstorm.  There are few experiences in my life that match walking on the National Mall, glancing upwards at the United States Capitol.   Other buildings that have taken my breath away include The World Trade Center Towers and The Golden Gate Bridge.

In November of this year I was able to go to Chichen Itza it is a world famous complex of Mayan ruins in Mexico. Seeing this pyramid was the most magnificent and thrilling thing I have ever seen in my life. The fantastic inner architecture was mind blowing for such an old structure. The acoustics were the best i had ever experienced, every note struck rang beautifully of the organ pipes.

I was 10 years old, almost 11 when I visited Mesa, Arizona for two weeks. It was in 2009. During that trip we all went to go look at the Grand Canyon and it was one of the most beautiful sites I've ever seen. I was amazed by the magnificent impression it gave off.

Upon the days of which I will have enough green paper to travel the globe, one of the places I would choose to visit is The Great Sphinx in Egypt. The Great Sphinx of Giza is a limestone statue of a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Standing on the Giza Plateau on the western bank of Nile River, the face of the Great Sphinx is believed to be that of the Pharaoh Khafre, during whose reign (2575–2465 BC) it was built.

Although I don't like deserts too much, I would like to see in person this giant, magnificent piece that was made by man. It apparently weighs 6.5 million tons. TONS!  The building itself is truly impressive. The largest church in the world, it has a 211.5 meter long nave (694 ft, including the narthex). The basilica's dome is one of the world's largest measuring 42 meters in diameter and reaching 132.5 meters high (more than 434ft). Also home to the Sistine Chapel where "The Last Judgement" by Michelangelo is painted. The whole building is breath taking inside and out, and it is the most memorable part of my trip to Italy

I couldn’t quite decide which building was more amazing to see so I thought I would include both! About 5 years ago I was blessed to be able to go to Paris and visit the Eiffel Tower which some people dream of going to. I not only got to see it, but I got to go all the way to the top and witness an amazing view. One night while we were out and about walking we watched the tower literally twinkle its lights and it was such a beautiful sight. The other place I visited was London where I was able to see all of the different landmarks including my favorite, The London Eye. I was able to go up into the London Eye and I was able to see the indescribable view at the very top. You could see all of the landmarks including Big Ben, Parliament building, Buckingham Palace, and Saint Paul’s Cathedral. I was able to visit the Mayan Ruins in Mexico. There is so much history there it is truly amazing. The building in this picture is the main Ruins that has been damaged due to people climbing on it but its still an amazing site to see. The history behind these buildings is very interesting as well.

The cliffs of Moher
These cliffs have absolutely breathtaking views. The cliff stretches over 5 miles long and is 702 feet above sea level. The views that you can see from these cliffs is the Aran Islands, Galaway Bay, and the Turks mountain. I have always wanted to go to Ireland and see these outstanding cliffs.

I would love to go to San Francisco and see the Golden Gate Bridge. I want to see it because it was always an opening picture to one of my favorite shows when I was littler.

I would like to visit the marvelous and extraordinary dead sea. The dead see inspires so many questions and just puts  me in awe when i think about it. I just want to float on it and feel weightless and live care free.

As I step foot on the almost sacred land an eeriness cloaks the island. I step lightly almost afraid to leave a print of where I've been. We approach the abandoned asylum, vines  and mold crawl up its forgotten walls in a beauty difficult to describe in words for those who haven't seen. Inside it seems to almost be another place completely, a place of horror you would read in a book or see in a movie around midnight, the walls seclude you from the outside world, almost suffocating in a way. Leaves litter the ground like a lifeless rug, hollowed out spaces on the walls peer to the outside forest of rotten desolates, rusted decaying beds or wire lay undisturbed imprints in its woven masses, the walls seem to speak with the words of terror written by the tortured souls of the women imprisoned here. You could almost hear them scream in the blood curdling screeches they would let out upon ways of "treatment". Leather shoes clutter in corners and up walls, slightly burned. Some dolls lay in chairs squeaking as they rock to and fro, their faces seemed almost demonic in the aged cracked porcelain with hair missing and tangled into a mess of molded fuzz, eyes rolling  into is small heads as the chairs move, their clothes rotten and tattered from days of use.
