For example, some wars can be fighting for peace, but what is peace when you're killing innocent people to prove a point? In war there is only one thing each side is going for which is to win and prove that they're more powerful. Furthermore, typically war is a message of power and strength.

Power is a reason why society is separated and not together as one. People's thirst for power and superiority is what drives them into being a bad person. For example, a situation that is still a problem in society is men thinking they're more dominant than women and always trying to prove that point.

Education is an important factor to the human knowledge. Being educated doesn't mean you have to be smart but it gives you common knowledge. Having knowledge could be a negative impact because of new discoveries for nuclear weapons and more advanced technology.

The key to survival is knowledge. Being efficient and educated helps survival more.

Rebellion is common in people who don't agree with something they're forced to do. In the modern period, many civilians rebelled because of tax laws and unfair payment. In modern society, people stand up for what they believe in such as striking. The concept of rebellion is less brutal in modern society due to laws and having human decency so rebellion is more like striking, marches, and petition.

War is peace.

Just because someone didn't join the army, it doesn't make them a coward, it just shows that fighting just isn't for them. Some may be more aggressive than others, but most are vulnerable during the time of war. Even those who aren't fighting in the war get affected by it the most due to the huge amount of damage war creates. One of the big pictures for war is people's greed for power and I think it's unfair for innocent people to lose their lives because of someone's greed for superiority. War takes a toll on the lives of those who are innocent and are fighting for survival. War generally involve soldiers fighting for their country, but in some cases like Wiesel's, it was more of a genocide. On the topic of genocides, it is similar to war, innocent people die for no particular reason. War nor only takes the lives of individuals, but it takes everything away from a person such as their homes and families. Not only do the soldiers sacrifice a lot and lose a lot, the innocent civilians lose a lot more or lose as much as the soldiers do.
