The Polish scientist was the first woman in history to win a Nobel Prize in Physics. And he won twice.


She had a poor childhood, and in order to study, she had to move from Poland to France, avoiding the license and lack of opportunities for women in science.




She was top of her class in her master's degree and together with her husband, Pierre Curie, developed the principles of radioactivity. He ended up dying at the age of 67 due to the negative effects of radiation, he was exposed to his studies and experiments for so long.
