Due to unorganized and ill- prepared planning, the idea quickly ran into the ground. Costs ran into billions of pounds and was set back for over 2 years. The idea was rushed when public interest increased and this left to things being left , forgotten or parts being brought back to the drawing board. All the teams that were designing the idea where also using different software's and programs leaving parts that wouldn't fit together.
