This article shares four types of educational leadership that are familiar if an individual has been in the position of leadership before. It includes: servant leadership where there is no sense of one's self in the position of leadership, transactional leadership where all parties play a part in giving and taking, emotional leadership where this trait considers leadership from an emotional standpoint, and transformational leadership which takes all of the attributes above into consideration when establishing and reaching leadership goals. Transformational leadership is the core term that connects the best attributes of the other three terms.

Lynch, M.
