  I chose Accountancy because I wasn't sure what I'd really like to do in SHS and College so I decided to take mom's suggestion of taking BSA. I got a glimpse of what it's like in SHS (in ABM) and even with all the hardships and realizations I had back then about what this course might be, I decided to still continue BSA in College.

Why Accountancy/MGA?

- I chose Management Accounting because some of my family members are graduates of Accountancy, and their experiences inspired me to follow the same path. I’m also genuinely interested in how businesses operate behind the scenes, especially when it comes to managing finances and making smart decisions. Another reason I chose this course is because there are many job opportunities in the accounting profession, both here and abroad. In addition, careers in accounting often offer higher salaries compared to other fields, especially with experience and the right certifications.

• I really love cooking and baking, making dishes like carbonara is one of my specialties and it’s my favorite comfort food to prepare.

• I enjoy watching K-dramas, C-dramas, and listening to K-pop, they’re a big part of how I relax and express my interests outside of school.

• I love playing volleyball, and I was actually a student-athlete and varsity player at EACC during my Grade 12 year, which taught me a lot about teamwork, discipline, and balancing academics with sports.

I originally started in BS Civil Engineering but later shifted to major in Financial Management. I chose this program because it was one of my top choices, and I’ve always been interested in understanding how money works. Coming from a family that has experienced financial struggles, I was motivated to pursue this field in hopes of gaining the knowledge and skills needed to improve our situation and eventually help others in similar circumstances.
