The service was originally set up to meet the needs of individuals who had complex needs that could not be met by other day services in the area and is the only day service in the Wolverhampton area that specialises in working with adults with such complex care needs.

 Providing Support for children and adults in the Burton and Swadlincote area who have moderate learning difficulties, Autism and behaviours that challenge as well as profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Orchid Day Service operates Monday to Saturday and provides a variety of support which is tailored around individual needs. We offer work related activities and opportunities to people with moderate learning disabilities, to those with mental health needs and to people who have sensory and physical disabilities.

The Neil Dougherty Centre is one of 3 City of Wolverhampton Council-run facilities for people with disabilities, all of which have recently been renovated.

Action4Independence, on Albert Road near West Park, was transformed in 2016 and is now a bright, accessible venue offering art, horticultural, catering and Information Technology activities via the SupportPlus service for adults with a disability.

The venue hosts a number of community groups and council services and is also home to Enable, a supported employment service for people with disabilities, and the Community Pathways team who help people who are disabled gain greater independence.

We are based in the South Staffordshire Business Hub in Codsall. From here we run a variety of fun and skill based activities throughout the week all with the ethos of increasing our members independence and community inclusion across Cannock and South Staffordshire.

We provide our sessions at a variety of bases across the local area including Cannock Chase, St. Mary's Social Club in Cannock, Brewood Cricket Club, Black Country Museum and many more too! Here at Rockspur as well as all of our weekly sessions we regularly offer a variety of trips and community access and unit holidays throughout the year too.

Muddy Boots Ground Care CIC is an organization based in Stourport-on-Severn that provides day opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues. They offer various activities, including hedge cutting, mowing, and crafting projects. The organization also engages in commercial and private work, refurbishing furniture and creating items for sale.

The Ground Care team which runs Monday - Thursday carry out commercial and private work to include hedge cutting and bramble clearance, strimming, mowing, use of a sit on mower for larger areas. The woodwork department which runs on a Wednesday make items to take home or for sale and they also refurbish old furniture. The Arts & Crafts which runs on a Thursday have some fantastic projects for people to either take home or for sale on their craft stall. Multi Skills runs on a Friday which is an experience of working in 55 acres with horses, pigs, woodland as well as access to the rest of the centre workshops.

What To Do is an award-winning online inclusive activities website, which aims to provide extraordinary experiences for people who access care and support. It is co-produced with people supported by Community Integrated Care, to create sessions that are meaningful, high quality and speak to the interests and aspirations of our audience.

Over the next three years, we will continue to build on our core expertise in education and employability while engaging more than ever before in the other areas that are essential for autistic children and young people to lead a fulfilling life, such as having supportive families and relationships, good health and wellbeing and being active citizens in their communities.

We offer a range of health and wellbeing activities designed to improve people’s confidence, reduce loneliness and give people the chance to learn new skills at our adapted centre.  Whatever stage of sight loss you are at we can support you. 

Pathways have developed the Learning Garden, taking on a different theme each year to make it interesting for visitors and putting on a range of children’s activities at each show to encourage children to engage in the world of nature, agriculture and horticulture.

At present Pathways have six clients whom have a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. The clients see Pathways and the Three Counties as their place of work and take great pride in the work they do, knowing it is bringing joy to other people and they feel part of the Three Counties community.

In 2017, Pathways moved to their new garden, by the lake on the showground, which they have continued to develop and establish, while the former Learning Garden has become a new resource, the Health and Wellbeing Garden.

Home - Amber Support Services

Day opportunity for adults with learning disabilities and other special needs. We focus on education, skill development and social opportunities. Service users are overseen by one of our tutors who will create a progression plan based on their individual goals and what they want to achieve. Our tutors are qualified in special education needs and each have a wealth of knowledge and experience in various social care backgrounds.

Supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism and adults with mental health in their own homes, and in accessing the community, with housework, gardening, shopping, cooking, cleaning and budgeting at home, and in accessing the community with shopping, visits to the gym, cinema, exercise classes, entertainment, social events including the theatre and cinema, visiting family, hospital and dental appointments, work experience, volunteering and anything that will help with promoting a healthy and independent life.

We try to get out into our local community as much as possible using Lock Close as our starting and finishing hub. It is a place where friendships and social interaction is supported. If individuals have 1-1 support we can enable individuals to participate in voluntary work if requested. Where we excel is if family members need us to support longer than the 7 hours due appointments etc.

Infinity Support will help individuals learn new skills, both professional and sociable, enhancing self-esteem and well-being. Our person-centred approaches take a holistic view to incorporating new skills to everyday living. Through positive risk taking and person-centred support plans built around each individual’s needs. Groups assist with all aspects of farm life across the 40 acres, including animal care, woodwork, and working in the gardens and veg patches. We cater to a wide range of abilities, some people work hand over hand, whilst others use hand tools independently under supervision.

A day respite centre for clients with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)

Fun & friendly day activity based care for low to middle needs adults with learning disabilities including, Autism, Downs Syndrome, Asperger’s and Acquired Brain Injury. Qualified tutors specifically in this field in a safe and friendly environment. We are very focused on encouraging social interaction, friendships and communication skills. We operate 50 weeks per year including all Bank Holidays and throughout the Summer. Free taster days for any individual who wishes to try out our service and to meet the groups and tutors.

We offer alternative and innovative day care for adults and children with Disabilities. This day care is split into two parts, but both situated on a family farm of 40 acres.

1. The Farm: Involved with caring for the animals: Small ponies, miniature donkeys, goats, pigs, hens, as well as rabbits, guinea pigs, degus and chinchillas. This work is adapted to suit all abilities and is very inclusive in terms of wheelchair users and the less able. The service users can opt to take part in horticulture as well.

2. Nineveh Projects: Opened last year to offer a 'work' environment to those who would rather mostly stay indoors. The service users help to produce items, mostly out of pallet wood to sell on line and at markets. Again this is very inclusive, some can be taught to use tools, others may be sanding or painting

BOTH: In the afternoons, service users choose between 'sport' (table tennis etc., music & drama/ dancing, grooming animals, craft, & walking/armchair exercises.

Placement opportunity at Mix Café to learn and work within a community based café, serving breakfast, lunches and drinks and providing buffets and other external catering services. Will learn in a supported environment, all aspects of food hygiene, health and safety, food preparation, customer service skills and hygiene.

Our friendly, professional team encourage and support individuals in a person-centred way. We provide support through individual and groupwork, based on the individual’s needs, choices and goals.

Our service users are people with profound and multiple learning disabilities who have severe learning difficulties.

We offer specialist transport, a hot-mid day meal and a fully resourced, accessible building base, with specialist activities on and off site. Although Domiciliary care is not covered by this tender it is an important part of our service. Transport is a vital for people with PMLD. It is not just a simple case of getting into the car and putting a seatbelt on. It takes time and is physically arduous. Most travel in their specially adapted wheelchairs and with a ramp system for egress. We provide transport with a fully trained driver and supervisor to and from home and for trips into the community.

Maesbury Metals is a day centre providing support and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, offering activities to meet individual’s needs and aiming to develop people’s life skills and promote independence.

A day opportunities group for adults with learning disabilities, designed to promote independence and wellbeing through activities and interactions.

Available activities include arts and crafts sessions, shop and cook projects, walking for health, exercise classes or gym sessions, library visits, work placements, IT sessions and socialising. Some activities will be one-to-one or in small groups, others in larger groups, depending on the type of activity or the needs of the individual.

We promote wellbeing, good hygiene and healthy lifestyles through all that we offer. We facilitate a friendly and sociable environment that allows individuals to develop skills and grow in confidence. The group enjoys interactions with the whole of Mayfair and the wider community, benefitting equally from stimulating activities and the opportunity to socialise with their peers.

Do you know a young person aged 18–25 with a learning disability and/or autism and an interest in performing?

Open Theatre are hosting a session for young people to experience our unique way of performing - showing just how fun and creative non-verbal physical theatre is!

No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and enthusiasm! Our sessions are welcoming, inclusive spaces where young people can build confidence, connect with others, and experience the joy of performing in new ways.

The session is free, and we can support with access or travel needs - let us know when you book.

At Stoney Lane Centre, we provide a warm, inclusive environment where adults with multiple learning disabilities are supported through person-centred, outcome-focused activities.

Our centre offers a mix of engaging programmes, social opportunities, and practical support tailored to individual needs. We empower people to build new skills and increase independence through meaningful, personalised experiences.

We provide specialist, person-centred, and outcome-focused outreach support for adults aged 18 and over with disabilities, living in the Sandwell area. Our goal is to promote independence and enable individuals to live as independently as possible within their communities.

At New Leaf, we are passionate about giving adults with learning disabilities, and / or neurodivergence and additional needs opportunities to thrive, whilst living their best life.

Based out of the Pavilion room in Lea Hall, Rugeley, we offer support for people aged 16+, ensuring every person is valued, included, and supported to live their best life every day.

We run opportunities Monday - Friday, and can offer local transportation for a small fee (subject to discussion).

The Hub offers easy access to information, advice and support, including signposting to other services and amenities in the Borough. The Hub also delivers a timetable of social, leisure. recreational and hobby based activities and opportunities.

The Walsall Disability Hub also hosts Techy Friday’s session. This session is for people to learn about IT equipment and technology, with resources available for both adults with a learning disability and family carers.

There is an excellent Changing Places Suite which can be utilised during office hours Monday to Friday or pre-booked using the contact number below. This facility is FREE of charge and offers:

The Stan Ball Centre is open to the public Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm. This beautiful purpose-built canal-side location, boasts a range of activity, meeting and craft rooms, a 5 star Food Hygiene rated Bistro open to the public and two bespoke care hubs. The Centre offers a wide range of services, activities and leisure opportunities for all adults.

Independent adults can join in a range of social and learning activities and enjoy many offsite trips outside our local community.

For adults looking for friendship and a bit of fun we run daily coffee mornings and lunch clubs. If you don’t feel you have the confidence to join others our Making Connections Social Connector can meet you in your own home, build your confidence and support you with the transition into community activities.

For adults requiring care and support, including those with learning disabilities and dementia, we provide our bespoke care provision led by a qualified care team.

Our ethos is today as it was on the very first, deliver a excellent dedicated service for all.

Our Facilities include, 2 large various use areas, a disco room, a small but fully equipped sensory room, A purpose built area for living skills which includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room and bedroom. A large outside garden area with onsite access to a gym, sports hall, Astro turf pitch, performing arts area and much more.

Personalised day support for young adults age 18-30 years with additional learning needs. Moving into adulthood with Independent living skills, time & money management, friendship building, fitness plus more. There is also volunteer opportunities.

Running every Monday and Friday from 9:30 am - 3 pm, Warwick Pathway offers customers fun activities to support their needs and interests.

We listen to customers and their needs, building confidence and self-esteem through sessions that are rewarding, and fun, and promote independence. This enables customers to be creative; build on their existing skills, and learn new skills. Example activities include baking, gardening, up-cycling, crafting, swimming, healthy cooking, cycling, film-making, life skills, singing, walking, and customers’ choices.

Our staff are trained in working with adults with disabilities, focusing on person-centred support.

The Ramsden Centre in Nuneaton, offers a range of leisure and learning opportunities for people with learning disabilities who have complex needs and/or autism.

We offer a wide range of activities at the centre and we support people to access community activities.

The range of activities, from sensory-based sessions through to cookery and gardening, help people to gain skills, develop friendships, support their wellbeing, and increase independence.

Each person has an individual Plan for Life. The plan identifies the person’s needs and preferences, and how they would like their needs to be met. Plan for Life enables us to support people in a consistent, holistic and person-centred way.

We can offer 1-to-1 support to people who have been assessed as needing this level of support.

We operate from two locations in Warwickshire, The Mansley Centre in Stratford Upon Avon and Benford Court in Warwick

Trinity’s journey began in 2011 with the opening of a specialist college, followed by the creation of a day service in 2016. The next step of our journey is Trinity House, a small family feeling short stay respite home, which will provide service users with the experience of living away from home for short periods and provide families and carers with a break from caring. The services provided by Trinity have been led by the needs of the families and young people we support, through coproduction.
