She has two older sisters who are 8 and 10. She has a dog name Otto and she loves him. Ella really enjoys reading and looking at books. She also loves to build with friends. Ella goes to preschool and is there for 7 hours. 9:00am to 4:00pm.

I noticed when she gets upset with herself or feels she did not complete it right, she self disciplines. Ella tends to hit herself in the head and/or scream at herself. This causes for concern, children this young should not feel this negative towards themselves. In the moment I helped correct the behavior and made not of the incident. I have also observed Ella not taking well to others. She often likes when things go her way and if they do not then she does cause an altercation. I started to communicate with her teachers today to brain storm what we could do.

They have agreed with my findings and have noticed the same things. We brainstormed ideas on how to address the issue and worked out how to add it to Ellas conference.

Changing our attitudes in class (being more positive)

Dicecting problems with the kids (having them be more independent with their problem solving and guid the outcome of the situation.)

Similar to the teacher meeting, the parents agreed with everything and also saw similar behaviors at home. As a team we worked together to find solutions to the problems that we would keep consistent at home and in the classroom. We hope to see progress in her social emotional development and will be in constant communications with everyone involved.
