In Sudan the Arab-Muslims  had a modernized north part of the country and the south was neglected. This caused a civil war between the two parts of the country. After 1962, the hate between the Hutu's and the Tutsi's was clear, however this hate had been put in their head by the Belgians. By 1994, the genocide had begun and ended in 100 days, and killed over 800,000 Tutsi's and Hutu's.
