1. My Task and Contribution

My task was to present my painting and explain its meaning during the video conference. I also helped with discussions and gave feedback on other students’ presentations. This allowed me to share my thoughts while also learning from my classmates and the Indian students.

2. Most Important Learning Experience and Skills

Presenting my painting was a valuable learning experience. I improved my ability to explain my artistic choices clearly and gained confidence in speaking to a group. I also developed a better understanding of how different cultural backgrounds influence artistic interpretation.

3. What Went Well and What Could Be Improved?

The presentation and discussion went well, and I enjoyed hearing different perspectives. However, I could have prepared better by practicing my explanation more. This would have made my presentation clearer and more detailed.

4. Comparison with the Partner School

The Indian students’ paintings had unique styles and meanings, influenced by their culture. Comparing them with ours showed me how art reflects personal and cultural experiences. This helped me see my own painting from a new perspective and understand the value of different artistic approaches.

My task in the group was conducting interviews and writing texts. I helped gather information and made sure everything was written clearly. I also participated in group discussions and helped with communication so that everyone could share their ideas in the final result.

My most important learning experience was conducting interviews because I improved my ability to ask questions and listen carefully. I developed my communication and teamwork skills, especially in organizing information and presenting it clearly. I also learned how to combine different opinions into one complete story.

The teamwork went well, and we divided the tasks in a smart way. Our research went smoothly, and the final result was clear. However, I could have managed time better so that we had more time to check and improve our work. I could have also used more images to make the presentation more interesting.

4. Comparison with the Partner School

From the partner school, I learned that art can be understood in different ways. Their explanation of the paintings was different from ours because of their cultural background. This showed me how important it is to look at art in the right historical and cultural context.

During the video conference, we presented our paintings and explained their meanings. The Indian students did the same, sharing their interpretations and artistic choices. It was interesting to see different perspectives and cultural influences in our work. This experience improved our presentation skills and gave us a different view on art.

I wanted to painted this because elephants are my favourite animals so it was very fun to make this and I already knew this song and it really stood out to me.

I used the colour pink for the main part of the elephant and it reflected to the happy side of the song because it’s an positive song with a deep voice that’s why i use the dark blue colour with different shades of blue

My most memorable learning experience was the video conference. At the conference I worked on my globalisation and my way of speaking English at the conference I talked in an interview setting asked a lot of question and was very enthusiastic.

The paintings were finished and they all went well and I think it was very fun to make them. The video conference went very well Iwan and Julius went to India for an exchange at our school so they knew a bit of Hindi words at it was fun to see there reaction.

The most memorable part was learning Warli painting techniques. I improved my painting skills, especially in using simple lines and shapes to tell a story. I also developed leadership and teamwork skills by communicating my artistic vision and working with my group. Another interesting thing I learned was about modern classical Hindi music. It was cool to see how traditional styles mix with modern influences, and it gave me a new appreciation for Indian art and culture.

Our teamwork and creativity went well. The final artwork reflected our theme effective. However, I would have liked to spend more time refining the details and experimenting with different techniques. Better time management and clearer communication could of improved our process.

From the partner school, I learned how different cultural perspectives influence art. Their Warli painting had unique styles, colors, and symbolism. Comparing our work helped me understand the importance of cultural storytelling in art.

• Yes, we had several video conferences with our peers from the partner school. The conferences were scheduled regularly and allowed us to discuss different topics related to our projects and cultural experiences. The content of these sessions included group discussions on academic progress, sharing cultural insights, and working on collaborative assignments.

• Yes, I have had some WhatsApp conversations with my peers from the partner school. We exchanged ideas about assignments, as well as casual chats about daily life, hobbies, and cultural differences. It was a great way to stay connected and keep the communication going between video conferences.

• The WhatsApp correspondence was helpful for staying in touch in between video conferences. We shared updates on tasks and discussed challenges we faced in our respective educational settings. It was nice to be able to have quick conversations and learn more about each other's cultures and school systems.

• It was possible to work with my intercultural peers, though at times time zone differences made it challenging to schedule video conferences. Additionally, language barriers were sometimes an issue, but we worked through them by using translation tools and clear, simple communication.

I did my individual task well, but at the group assignments I wasn’t at school because of medical reasons i did one of the group assignments. I did the playlist i made together with Julius

The experience was good we had a good chemistry in the group and we worked well together. I learned how to draw warli I never did that before. I improved my skills of drawing and speaking English i also learned something about the Indian culture

3.what went well and what could be improved?

The teamwork went great we had fun and we did our job. We divided our task well, but the management of time wasn’t great we did everything on the latest moment that wasn’t that smart so we could do that better next time

I wasn’t at the video conference so i have no idea what the Indian students made, so i can’t rate their workings in comparison with ours
