He only cares about himself and makes fun of other people and their problems because it makes him feel better. He continues to wrestle despite not wanting to because he has been taught by others that he must do certain things which do not bring him pleasure in order to please others. The Superego is about acting in order to fit in with social standards and behaviors reflecting what one has been taught. The ego is the balance between one's ID and superego. He demonstrates this position when John hits his hand and rather than fighting back or getting angry he turns away. He also comes between others while they begin to fight, although doesn't do so aggressively as he continues to respect everyone.
