Some ways women can help encourage one another is by getting rid of the labels we use to harshly define one another and by just lifting each other up and not judging based on appearance. We should be able to compliment each other without it seeming judgy and we should be able to rely on one another when we go through some harsh things such as rape.

I stay hopeful by thinking of the positives I have planned for the future. For example I have been pushing through these last couple of weeks because I have a Disney trip coming up:) so I have been telling myself “do this assignment for Mickey”

I stay hopeful by reminding myself that everything will pass eventually. All events in life happen in seasons which means it is just a part of a cycle and sooner than later there will be change.

One way women can help and encourage one another is by being kind and supporting one another. It’s very easy to judge each other as women when we shouldn’t, instead we should listen and not jump into conclusions. We shouldn’t tear each other down because at the end of the day we go through similar stuff, and what better way than to be nice, encouraging, and respectful.

A way women would be able to support each other we would first have to grow out of the competition mindset. Women have been shown to be competitors against each other and that’s not a positive energy. I believe that women can change or alter that mindset so we can come more together as women.

I stay hopeful by reminding myself of the different things that were previously thought to be unchangeable and how they are no longer that way. Right now the parallel that a lot of us are thinking about is Apartheid in South Africa. Another thing that brings me hope is knowing that we are all of a product of how we have been socialized and have the power to change in the future when we receive new information.

acknowledging each other’s differences and realizing we all come from different walks of life. even if we haven’t lived the same experiences, knowing we are heard can be extremely empowering! collective consciousness is a huge step we can take to achieving solidarity for our women.

I stay hopeful by taking everything as one task at a time. Sometimes it can be stressful looking at things holistically all the time, but by breaking things down I’m able to feel hopeful that I can accomplish the things I want. I also stay hopeful by looking to what I’m striving for and not my circumstances because circumstances are temporal.

My vision would include an authentic education system where the course material is not censored of the truth, real events and outcomes of those events, as well as requiring any form of a WGS course for highschoolers. I feel like if many of us had been educated on these feminist issues before we had to pay for the institution itself, we would have ideally a closer chance to a feminist utopia kinda world <3

I stay hopeful by reminding myself that everyday is a new day, and that dwelling on past mistakes/obstacles won’t allow me to keep pushing forward. When there is bad going on in the world, I encourage myself to stay grounded and stay informed on the issue going on.

Some ways women can help encourage each other is by celebrating our differences rather than put them down. Society has made it easy for women to quickly turn on one another, but this doesn’t have to be the case forever!

I think if everyone was seen as equal, labels and groups would continue to exist. Humans are inclined to group things together to better understand what is going on. Groups may be more positive rather than negative, but nonetheless I think there would still be groups.

I stay hopeful by recognizing the little things that make my days a little better. Focusing too much on the big picture can be overwhelming at times, so I think it’s important to remember that there is still some good things within the bad times.

I stay hopeful by knowing that there are kind and generous people out there in the world. Although we may see a lot of violence online and in media, it’s important to keep in mind that there are many open minded people in the world who are embracing change and positivity. A rise in the matriarchy and end to “down with the patriarchy”. The second you have a thought that isn’t conducive to the success of a movement or even an individuals success then move on. Uplift each other or just move on but don’t continue to be complicit in the marginalization of women and minority communities. I stay hopeful by not allowing others actions or words etc to dictate my hope or future or happiness. We live in a world as well that is not nearly as hard as it was 100 years ago and I think we take for granted the pleasures, liberties, and privileges we all have today.

I stay hopeful by having this balance of what is real and what is still in a contemplation phase of what our elected leaders choose to do moving forward. This change we strive and fight for, has happened before and it can happen again. Those women of color who continued to fight for THEIR right to vote after the original 19th amendment, is what makes me stay hopeful. Even if it takes time, we are not just fighting for our saving, but for those who will be left here after us. Leaving the world a better place than we grew up in, is my hope.
