Strengths: very descriptive and use of imagery. You could understand her perspective

  • a very personal narrative (able to live in the moment with her)

  • there wasn't a good balance of showing and telling
  • the message is kind of unclear

Strengths:
- Good use of dialogue to show relationship with her mom
- Good imagery and descriptive vocabulary

Weaknesses:
- A little confusing (random details everywhere)
- Message is unclear but we think it could be something relating to culture (she includes several details relating to Korean culture; kimchi, speaking Korean at home, Korean TV shows)
