1- I think one of the best ways for me to reduce garbage is both to be faster when I shower to reduce water and to make my own lunches at home, because I usually buy my food and almost never make it myself, and that can make a lot of garbage since most lunches include a lot of bags and plastic that ends up being wasted.

2- Recycling can help a lot with the waste accumulation, stuff like reusing bags and not get plastic ones, reuse plastic bottles, composting at home, not buying stuff with plastic packaging, etc.

I think that you could reuse the plastic bottles that are bought daily, also learn to buy more things with reusable or paper containers, this would be a great strategy to avoid wasting so much plastic that is used in most containers.

1) There are many ways I reduce my amount of garbage. In first place, I take advantage of what we use daily and give them a second use, for example, using bottles or cardboard to make crafts with them (a little desk bin with an ice cream bottle, an desk organizer with cardboard...etc). Now, focusing on the subject of food, it's better to bring home-cooked food and not so many packaged stuff, for example, having a bottle especially for water and not always buy a plastic bottle of water, or bring a healthy lunch and snack and no packaged food like chips or cookies. Other good tip is separating the garbage, my family have the domestic and recycable garbage separated in black and white bags to make it efficent. Finally, when I'm buying something, I prioritize what is highly necessary or useful and don't get carried away by what I like .... I don't want to say that you should never give your personal tastes some love, but the best is to buy what is just and necessary and after, what we like taht maybe is almost decorative.
2) I actually don't know what more to add, maybe expanding the 3 R rule thinking (reduce, reuse, recycle)to my nearest and taking in practice what people reccomend everyday.
