When someone overloads people with information to make it seem like they know what they are talking about. It also makes it so there is no time to ask questions about the information given. 

The above video links to the red flag proof by verbosity because Donald Trump in this speech rambles on about Covid-19. He overloads the public with misinformation about the United States response to the pandemic and had it not been recorded it would be near impossible to catch everything he mentioned. Despite the fact that he states almost no true facts in his speech, he creates the façade of knowledge with the amount of things he brings up. However, if you apply critical thinking to what he says in his speech you realize he is spouting misinformation. 

This red flag is when people believe that large authorities (government, large companies) are trying to suppress information so they gain some kind of benefit.

This article looks into whether or not Big-Pharma and the Government have been hiding the cure for cancer all this time. This is an example of the red flag Suppression by Authorities as this article is trying to prove that there is laws in place to prevent anyone from sharing any proof of any way to cure cancer other than chemo. 

The red flag all natural is when a product or service is being sold to people or shown off as positive or better than scientific competitors due to it being made with "all natural" plants, or methods. 

The link above is to a book on Essential oils that claims to have all natural remedies and recipes for the mind, body, and home. This is an example of all natural as the book is using the claim of all natural products to sell healing remedies. 

The red flag Ideological Support is when people have a set of ideas and values that are grounded in beliefs caused by religion, politics, or even family values.

The above link is the "Freedom Convoys" main Facebook page, this is an example of the red flag ideological support as a large majority of the posts and people that are showcased are against the Covid-19 mandates or vaccines due to their personal religious beliefs or there own political beliefs.

Just because two variables appear to be linked does not mean one causes the other. 

The article demonstrates the correlation not causation red flag because the American Psychological Association (APA), is linking violent video games to increased violence in people. And while the research done should not be discarded critical thinking should be applied. There is much more violence in media than just video games and the links presented are not that strong or are out of date. Additionally, other sources disagree with this viewpoint.  

People look for patterns everywhere. They will find patterns in places where they do not exist.

This picture demonstrates the patternicity reason for belief. The image depicts a ceiling light reflected in a window. However, to some it may look like a UFO descending from the sky. People may use an image like this as proof that UFOs exists, but if you were to apply critical thinking you would realize that this image does not depict a UFO.

When something cannot be explained, people come up with an explanation for it. 

The picture of Zodiac signs above showcases the unexplained reason for belief, as zodiac signs and astrology are a way for people to explain their personality traits, emotions, and even predict their future through horoscopes. Yet, zodiac signs are not scientifically proven and thus skepticism must be applied. People believe in them as they do not have another explanation for why they act the way they do. 

Emotional connection is when people let emotions get in the way of rational thought, which leads to believing falsities.

This article demonstrates an example of emotional connection clouding someone's judgment. It is a scam that tricks people into sending money to a scammer by pretending to be a loved one that is in danger. Due to the belief that loved ones desperately need money people send money biased of emotion rather than thinking through if this is a real situation.

This source points out that the likely candidate for increased violence in youth is ethnic hatred, lax gun control and stressful environments. 

Both sources are credible sources. However when critical thinking is applied there are red flags in the apa article with correlation being one of the main points linking video games to violence. These are not results that can be reproduced, as they need to come about naturally. 

There are many biases to consider when trying to link video games and violence from both sides of the argument.
People who enjoy playing video games would firmly be on the side of saying video games in no way cause violence and that there is no need to censor them.
People who dislike video games and wish to censor them would be firm on the side that video games cause an increase in violence. 
It also needs to be considered that blaming video games for violence is an easy cope out to dealing with larger underlying issues in society.
