Paleolithic
It is true that farming aloud more storage for food, but it also stated in ''The worst Mistake of History'' That the food that was produced by farmers lead to a 50% percent increase and enamel defects. Even though there were many advantages of agriculture it also broke down the environment greatly. Farming lead to us trying to decide whether to limit population growth or increase food production. Hunting and gathering also did let us have astable food supply. For as many animals are hunted and killed about 10 more will be born. This also leads to hearing which was said in the crash course video supplies meat, milk, shelter as in wool. Done

Neolithic
I beg to differ. The crash course did state that herding was a previously effective means of obtaining things such as milk, and wool, however in the grand scheme of things the amount of calories burned from just strictly hunting and tracking down these animals was enough to make any sane early human realize that breeding and housing these animals in a well developed town or city was a more effective way of harvesting wool and milk. Also wouldn't you rather have these animals being bred near you, only a few steps away rather than hunting for days, weeks, even possibly months.

As it would seem better for them to have stable city or town that wasn't always a good thing as farmers were known to trade and that lead to diseases spreading. Also by hearding and traveling it aloud them to have access to more resources and discover new land. If you notice that depending on the size of the group 1 deer could be ate off of for more than one day. Some people enjoy living like this as it seemed simpler without technology. Farmers constantly have to be worried about whether crops will grow and new agriculture is so much worse for the environment.
Done

Neolithic
Farming was actually very consistent, which is why it spread through many parts of the world. Also in the Neolithic era there were more than just crops being raised, which you have failed to mention. Animals as I've stated before were constantly captured, raised and bred and this began roughly in around 7500 BC in the Middle East where the first goats were farmed for milk and cheese. Even if crops were unsuccessful in being grown, there would always either be a surplus of a staple crop and also there was the milk from goats which could be drank or used to make milk, along with this there were also sheep in the middle est, wool could be harvested relatively easily and clothes could be made.

Paleolithic
Everything you said is a great advantage of agriculture, but what about everything that was a side effect. Such as fields being cleared, the resources needed to care for animals and room which leads to needing more land. Even though it may seem great for the people it has a huge impact on the animals and environment. It was also stated that humans were ok with the calorie intake , but as agriculture took over they started eating more. Life was ok in the Paleolithic stage the problem is everyone wants bigger and better.
Done

Neolithic
Bigger is better for the majority of things, example: a bigger brain is better than a smaller brain. What's interesting like you said, is that agriculture lead to eating more, in turn leading to the development of a larger brain. The idea of agriculture, and eating more has made our brains so much bigger and humans as a species much more intelligent. This agricultural revolution that started in the Fertile Crescent, evolved into the industrial revolution making us a much more complex society, and allowing for the development of complex structures, language and trade. None of this stuff would be possible without us stumbling upon agriculture. Done

Paleolithic
From South's side, like you said the development of a larger brain lead to many important discoveries, but it all started with the Paleolithics. Their discovery of making fire lead to a much larger brain which helped discover agriculture in the first place so without that, the Neolithic age couldn't have even come. That just goes to show how the discoveries made in the Paleolithic age were the most important also since that was the time when humans were learning the most and absorbing the most information in their better developed brain.
