I think I would be more relaxed as the kaimahi, because Joy (mama) was super calm. Matching her energy.

I suppose making sure that I would be prepared if whanau were defensive rather than receptive to the kōrero as well. Using ngā reo o te ngākau as a guide. Like we spoke about in the breakout room.(sorry for the biting scenario)

More time with Keira painting a picture of what it would ideally look like with Jarom and Pepi, what would this mean to her if he done these things? Then maybe that could be shared with Jarom as a more solution focused follow up korero.

I actually thought Jolz covered everything so well that, if I was in that situation, I would have felt so at ease. Here korero made me reflect on my Tupuna and made me feel grounded.

Possibly could have used whakatauki but overall I would love Jolz to be my kaimahi.

When Rini was giving her koorero (gentle drops) that I as the receiver (whaanau) felt she gave an essence of ngaakau mohio to my situation. The essential aspect I thought from her koorero was the gentleness of her koorero and not adding to the stress but giving me option to relieve some of the responsibilities and inclusion to the tamariki being involved with papa.

I would like to have focused a little more into the behavior of the tamariki and implemented korero around 'Ta te tamariki tana nei mahi wahahi tahaa'. Just to try lighten the focus from their behavior and direct more to development/age/stage...

We could have gone into the ways māmā was already settling pēpi and seeing if she might be already doing pīkau or receptive to it…talk about tūpuna view of attachment - like Michelle was saying in breakout room
