On one hand, enriching knowledge alone is undiniably a good approach. Firstly, student can have a efficient management while studying. They are able to regulate their own schedules or time table without being disturing by friends’ juicy gossips or interesting stories that they cannot resist. Moreover, advice from partners may steer them against their better judgement so that student likely to move far away from the objectives they set. Second, self-studying skill can be improved through such method. Students tend to be dependent on friends with daunting tasks, omiting the process of brainstorming which is extremely important for them to deal with not only challenging missions in daily homework, but also trouble learners were put to whilst working in severely competitive environment in the future.

On the other hand, i take the view that learning in group brings to students a substantial and most essential number of advantages for their study. Primarily, discussion happening regularly in a team throughout the process of gaining knowlegde is in need. New ideas and solutions emerging in each individuals help to learn things easily, solve the problems in much more creative and flexible ways. As a result, they may develop rapidly the ability to finish their own work faster and in various approaches without using obsolete and ineffective instruction in the book as learning alone. Secondly, It is more interesting to study with friends. Breaks at 15 minutes intervals for talking and relaxing with teammates are always good after a long time of hardworking to charge their batteries and enhance their spirits for harder lessons.

In conclusion, individually learning is effective; however, i appreciate team learning more due to superior impacts it brings to the students in order to help equip themselves with skills and knowledge that they gain through studying to have preparation for advanced learning in the future.

In my perspective, I always feel comfortable being able to have freedom of thought and work by my way when I learn alone because no one will affect my thoughts and I don’t have to rely on anyone’s ideas so that I can find out everything on my own. Nevertheless, you will be more focused on your work and do not have to worry about any distractions from others around you.

As I see, when you learn in a group there will be a lot of opinions that make you ambiguous, you do not know how to learn independently. Because you were to let others thought control you. When you let others’ ideals lead you, you will not have your answer. Besides, especially learning with your best friend, all of you absolutely can not learn anything because you and your friend just talk about another topic and do not make any attention to the main lesson you guys are doing.

In conclusion, finding a way to learning that suit for you still depends on any individuals. If you too force yourself in the learning way that make you feel not suitable for you then everything you can not learn anything or things you do will not work the way you want

The most obvious difference you should know is the study environment, if you hate the noise and don’t want to be interupted by other people, self-study is the perfect choice. You just stay at your own room, put your headphones on and focus on studying. You don’t have to move to other location to study. On the other hand, with group-study, you have to choose a place to have a discussion with your teammates, the library is an ideal place for group-study.

The second difference is the schedule, when you study in a group, you should find a time that works for everyone, it can be difficult to arrange a time and place that works for everyone, while study alone allows you the freedom to choose when you want to study and for how long. You can freely study whenever you want and have a break whenver you please.

Beside those differences, group study is similar to self-study in clarifying questions that you don’t understand, it also exposes you to different ways in solving problems. When you are faced with problems that may seem difficult and no one is there to tell you what to do, you can find the solutions through website or in your course books. In doing so, you are enabling yourself to improve your ability to deal with problems on your own. Also when you have your friends around, you can discuss with your friends about the problems and find solutions together.

In conclusion, self-study is better than group-study because it entails active learning and better focus, two of the most important ingredients of good learning. However, choosing the best method is based on your preferences, character, and availability. So it’s important to find a suitable method that get the best result for yourself.

The two types of learning differ appearently from the surrounding background. While studying by yourself provides completely individual environment without any discussion from others people, studying in a group brings open space with several viewpoints from different perspectives. Accquiring knowledge in the second way helps not only review problem in general but also remember lesson more longer; however, sometimes it less effective than learning alone when it makes learner confuse among too many opinions and got distracted by the noise around.

Studying by yourself make you free to starting learning whenever you want at wherever you are; whereas when learning by group, it takes time to make a plan appropriately with others’s schedule and choosing a place fits in everyone’s standard. Nevertheless, it means that you have no choice to postpone the intention of studying and be motivated by each others.

In spite of those distinct aspects mentioned above, they also similar in their target. Both two methods help us to boost the mood for studying, develop self-discipline and upgrade your self-worth by cultivating knowledge.
