2. Shakespeare included this theme in his play to document an example of how some people can be nice to your face but in reality, they scheme behind your back, I imagine this was a relevant topic in his time when times were harsher and people were less sympathetic than in our time.

3. There's a game I played when I was little called Oblivion. In it, you go to an island that is split into two. A bright, beautiful half (Mania) and a dark, swampy half, (Dementia). There are guards that protect each side, so the Mania guards look angelic with golden armor, and the Dementia guards look evil with dark, jagged armor. But the guards act differently, the Mania guards are rude to the player, and the Dementia guards are more respectful to the player. The reality doesn't match the appearance.

4. I think this theme is relevant today because a lot of times we can't judge something based on appearance alone. What can appear good can actually bring a bad outcome and we have no way of knowing that until the bad outcome happens to us.
