Finding efficient ways to document so more time can be spent on the observations.

Try to find ways to record observations that fit multiple purposes. Eg, for the teacher, student and parent. Rather than a different way of documenting for each.

Have children share there learning with each other / peer reflections

We both record observations, take photos and videos to monitor student progress. We meet daily to discuss student progress and adjust learning engagements, routines and the classroom environment to meet their individual needs.

1:1 teacher check-in's that students look forward to participating in provide time to get to know each student.
