This is something that I have to be cognizant of when collaborating with teachers.
-My coworkers are my audience. Many of my coworkers want information as short and sweet as possible.
-I will send this in the weekly instructional updates that are emailed out, as well as post flyers in the staff workrooms.

I used Canva to create my infographic. I plan to use this during grade level PLT meetings to aid in my presentation. I was surprised by how accurate the Jung Typology test actually was for me. It stated that ESFJ's are conscientious helpers, sensitive to the needs of others and energetically dedicated to their responsibilities. This description could not describe me more. I love helping and I hope that the teachers will see how much I want to be involved and will take advantage of my willingness!

Reflections: I feel that this is a good way of getting my name and face out there for the teachers that have yet to meet me. It might also be good for the parents, if they see this hanging around and understand that I am trying to collaborate with the teachers.

Learned about self: I feel like i did not really learn much about myself that I didn't already know. I have taken plenty of personality tests over the years and they stay pretty consistent. I am glad that my typology says I am almost built for this position.

Collaboration Affectation: I feel if the teachers don't already know I am ready and willing to work with them to reinforce their classroom teaching, this pamphlet should swing them my way.

Audience: The audience is the teaching staff at the school I am in

Use in program: I am not quite sure. I have already made plans to work with teachers and show them what I can do to help. I am in the process of lining up a guest speaker, and working on lesson plans based on what the students are learning in class. If the teachers don't know that I want to collaborate, I do not think they want to!

-I used Piktochart to create this infographic.
-Much of what I learned from these tests was not really a surprise as I've taken numerous tests like these over the course of my career. But, a refresher is always nice to help me reflect on why I am the way that I am, and how I might be able to improve on some of my weaknesses. I know that I achievement-driven which is why I end up working so hard (and sometimes burning myself out). I have been told that I am very empathetic and a great listener (e.g., You would make a great counselor!) but never really gave it much thought.
-My audience is for school staff, primarily teachers.
-Since the infographic is quite large, I might consider hanging this in the work room or lounge as a visual reminder that I am there and willing to help/collaborate. I would also email this out to teachers at the beginning of the school year to remind them that I am looking forward to collaborating with them.

Reflections--My previous life was spent in marketing. The hardest thing to market is myself! This was definitely a stretch, but I found viewing it from how I can be helpful to teachers rather than marketing myself made it easier to tackle!

What I learned about myself--I learned that I have not changed. Every year for 8 years when I worked for the Chamber of Commerce, I participated in a Myers Briggs personality test and workshop. The outcome never changed and still hasn't! I am entirely an introvert and fall so close to the line for sensing, thinking and judging that I really could go either way.

How will it affect plans--Two things I know about myself: I get bored easily and I tend to take on more than I should. I think getting bored easily might be a good thing because it will motivate me to find more/new ways to collaborate with teachers. Taking on more than I should is a problem, though. It's only been one week for me at this job and I already feel like I'm drowning and being asked to help/participate in all the things.

Who is my audience--The teachers at my elementary school. Mainly the upper grades, especially as I get my feet wet.

How will I use this--I am 100% sending this out on Tuesday to the entire staff! I've already had several very positive conversations with teachers about collaborating, so I am excited that they are very open to the idea!

I am on a fully-flexed schedule this year, and with laptop deployment, I haven't gotten the opportunity to say more than a passing "hello!" to some of our new staff, families, and volunteers. This will be a great thing to include in my email signature and school website to introduce myself to future collaborators from all different stakeholder groups in our community, not just teachers! Sometimes when I do outreach to other organizations and people see "School Library Media Coordinator" in my signature, people outside the county do not always realize that my role is equivalent to that of the school librarian so this will be a great explainer!

I used a new-to-me tool, Animaker. I loved it! It was very similar to Powtoons, but I found it much more user friendly. It was as if Canva (my true love) decided to try their hand at animation. There were plenty of options with the free version, but there more advanced features are definitely there if you want to pay!

I learned a lot about the type of collaborator I want to be that also fits my personality style. I am an ENFP. The E was not a surprise, but I definitely think I have developed the N,F, and P with age! I am much more aware of my impulsiveness and am able to slow down to allow myself some think time. I want to continue to grow in these areas to become a more effective collaborator.

I love this quick intro to what I can provide for teachers! I love that it's editable and is directly linked to my Bookings document (which syncs with my work email/calendar)!

My audience are the staff of my K-8 school of arts.

I most definitely plan to share this quick video with my staff, along with the direct link to book me! As my role evolves, I plan to edit and update it to keep it current with the needs of my stakeholders!

I used Canva to create my Portrait of a Collaborator infographic. My audience for this infographic is the staff at Jordan-Matthews High School where I am employed as the librarian. I hope to include this in some meetings with our staff to help introduce myself as the new librarian and to help get our school staff to utilize our library and myself.

There weren't many things that were surprising about the results of the personality tests. I've taken the Jung Typology Test before and my results have been pretty consistent over the years with that test. The descriptors of my personality type are very spot on and I feel that I relate to my personality type pretty well. I pride myself on being efficient and reliable in all facets of my life, but that can also lead me to taking on too many tasks or having an attitude of "just let me do it".

I hope that this Portrait of Collaborator will help the staff at JMHS understand my personality traits that may help them and understand what I can offer them.

I had fun doing this project. First of all, I learned how to use Powtoon. I really didn't have much experience with it in the past. The second thing I learned is that I learned how to plan out my work. I talk about in the video about how time management is one of my weaknesses and I am learning that writing a script and a plan, really helps when it comes to making a video. It is imperative, as a librarian, that I know how to manage my time because so many demands it. I often offer my services to teachers, but I am trying to cultivate relationships where I work together with teachers instead of just doing things for them. I honestly plan on starting with another teacher who is working on her administration degree because it is only natural for her to learn to collaborate since there may be times she has to work together with others. My audience is teachers. I could even use this video to help the staff learn about Powtoon in case they need PD. Lastly, I plan on using this experience to help students learn how to use Powtoon and how to collaborate.
