         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Malcolm Gladwell's investigative psychology journalism book,&nbsp;<em>Blink </em>(published January 11, 2005), Gladwell claims that thinking without thinking is better than overthinking. Gladwell supports his claim by telling stories of his own personal encounters with thinking without thinking and quoting the research from professionals on the same topic. Gladwell's goal was meant to convince his audience that to understand our behavior and others, we must learn to value what we perceive in two seconds rather than what we perceive over a period of time in order for his readers to learn how easily decisions and opinions can be made. Gladwell reaches out to his audience, those who think too hard and miss out on easy opportunities, with putting in his own experiences as well as kept an informal tone throughout the text. </div>]]></description>
