It started when the government started to invest in the industry of petroleum, roads, health, and education. It was important for Mexican history, because it helped a lot with the increase of economics for a short amount of time, and it was a learning experience to not make the same mistake twice.

This event was during 1928 to 1934. It was influenced by Plutarco Elías Calles in the government, later on he was named "Jefe máximo de la revolución", the Maximato was named after Plutarco Elías.
All this started when Obregón died after being elected on July 1st 1928 and the problem between Elías and Obregón.
Elías started controlling the country throught a Political Party and giving an end to the "Caudillos"

In my opinion the Maximato was an important force to modernize and change the country.

This was an estudiantil manifestation. The massacre was made by the Mexican Army and a paramilitary group.

It was important for Mexican history, since it was an important move from México to not have other nations get involved in the situations that they had and they could resolve them by their own.
