Sensory Evaluation:
1. Appearance: The pancakes are rounded and stacked neatly. Blueberry sauce drizzled over the pancakes added a purple colour/hue to the dish. Small dried blueberries used as toppings gave the dish more color definition due to its darker purple shade.  The creamy white vanilla ice-cream plopped above the pancakes helped to create texture in appearance to the dish as the ice-cream was soften and semi-solid. In addition, finely grated lemon zests were generously topped over the ice cream to provide a yellow tone and help bring out the presence of the creamy white vanilla ice cream. Finally, the dish was garnished with randomly arranged green mint leaves which helped to add color contrasts.
2. Taste: The overall dessert dish was generally sweet in taste with a little hint of sour notes due to the lemon zest and dried blueberries.
The dish is mainly blueberry and vanilla flavored that is not too overpowering as lemon zest and mint leaves were added to give a more refreshing and clean taste.
3. Texture: This dish has many layers of texture.
The pancakes were fluffy and soft upon first bite and melts in the mouth (does not require much chewing - not chewy)
The soften ice-cream gave a creamy and velvety mouthfeel and and instantly melts in the mouth as well.

Sensory Evaluation
1. Appearance: The crust of the apple crumble is brownish but it is not golden brown because we did cook it for long enough. The apples were also brown and some of it was seem from the top. Some of the crumble were tiny and some were in big pieces. The apples on the outer part was brownish while the apples on the inside were more pale.

2. Taste: The taste of the crumble were really sweet and crunchy. The taste of the cinnamon was strong so it tasted a bit sour. The outer part of the apple was harder than the inside of the apple. The apple did not taste as nice because it was sour. 

3. Texture: The apples had a lot of texture because the inside of the apple was very different from the outside. When you bite into the apple, it was very soft unlike the normal apple. Texture : The crumbs are crunchy. There is a layer of pale golden yellow crust above the sliced apple. Some of the crust are in clusters. The apple is sliced. It look soggy and juicy. It also look brownish. 

2) Taste: the apple tasted slightly sour, it also contain the taste of the Cinnamon. The crust was slightly sweet, there is also a buttery taste to it. When I eat the crust and apple together, the sour taste would not taste so outstanding. Overall the taste of the apple crumble is just nice not too sweet or sour.

3) Texture: the crust was crispy but some of the oats is quite hard but overall it s crispy. 1. Appearance: the green apples are slightly charred & are neatly placed into the aluminium tin foil. The golden (a little light brown) crust looks really hard and clumpy unlike others. This was probably because my partner, Xavier kneaded the dough.
2. Taste: the overall apple crumble was generally good. The green apples was slightly sour which ruined the taste. If the green apple was changed to red apple, it'll be so much better. The crust was really crunchy and it smelled really fragrant. If the crumble was made properly, it would've tasted so much better. 
3.texture: The apple required not much chewing because it was squishy and soft. The apple instantly melted in my mouth. The crust however, required more strength due to the crunchiness.

1. Appearance:
 The apples that were near the top were mildly charred but the apples in the middle and bottom were golden brown. The crust is golden brown.

2. Taste:
The mildly charred apples did not have the burnt taste. It was sweet and mildly sour. The taste of the cinnamon was noticeable in the apples and the crust, thus it made the crust noticeably sweet. The crust had a digestive biscuit kind of taste. Overall, the Apple Crumble was tasty.

3. Texture:
The golden brown apples were very soft. To the extent where just pulling it with two fingers was enough to split the apples. The crust was easy to eat as it was crispy and not hard.

The apples were glossy and look caramelized, the crust is golden brown and the apples had a coat of melted cinnamon on top of it. There was no over flowing or over rising of the crumble, the crumble covered the apples very well. There was still some visible oats but they filled the gaps in between the dough very nicely.

Taste:
The flour and butter were mixed in well and it tasted very nice.. The apples were sweet and it had a pungent cinnamon taste. This whole dish gave a generally very sweet taste. It is a more of a sweet rather than a savory dish.

Texture:
the apples were very chewy, the skin is crunchy and the flesh is soft. the crumble is very crispy and breaks easily in your mouth, the crumble is very flaky the baked apples gave the whole dish a more chewy texture

Sensory evaluation:

1) appearance : The Apple crumble looks nice and tasty and placed side by side . The baked crumble on TOP of the baked Apple makes it more tasty and more attractive .when seeing it for the first time it makes one drool as the crumble golden brown Colour makes it look absolutely tasty as it covers the baked Apple which Colour are not attractive enough so it's purpose is to enhance the appearance .

2) The overall Apple pie generally taste sour but tasty as the baked Apple pie is eaten together with the golden brown baked crumble . It tastes sour as the Apple is baked and some of the Apple juice has evaporated which remains the more sour juice 

3) texture : upon first bite it taste nice and crispy due to the baked crumble but it turned sour as the sour juice came out of the baked Apple but it became tasty soon after . It does not require much chewing  but with the baked Apple added , it required more chewing .
