Students wishing to take Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) should indicate this as their preference, however acceptance into the course is based on performance.

Choosing your Sciences

It is important that you choose the Sciences that align with your future A-levels and possible career options.

For any A-level Science, you must complete the IGCSE course. For example, you cannot study A-level Biology if you have not studied the IGCSE Biology and met the minimum required grade.

Use your Unifrog account to explore Careers and Univeristy courses in the Science field and look for the Sciences needed to study or work in that field.

For Medicine - You would need to select IGCSE Chemistry as one of your options as A-Level Chemistry is required to apply for medicine. Any health-based courses (nursing, dentistry, physiotherapy, sport medicine etc.) may also require Biology.
