         <description><![CDATA[<p>It is crucial to pay attention to place where racism does takes place, it has the potential to harm the physical and mental well-being of individuals. According to the National Inquiry into Racist Violence it was found that racism is mostly faced by he refugees who are physically different in terms of color from Australians.(Race Discrimination Commissioner, 1999)</p><p>It can lead to negative consequences such as stress arising from the past experiences of the refugees and problems faced by them in a new nation.</p><p>Every individual have an equal right to participate in social life without any kind of discrimination.("Part II: Non-discrimination and social inclusion," n.d.)</p><p>Race Discrimination Commissioner.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Burma is a rich and diverse country and has the major population as Bamar Buddhists. The cultural diversity is seen in the Burmese migrant inhabitants across the world.(<em>Cultural Atlas</em>, n.d.)</p><p>The official language is&nbsp;<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.britannica.com/topic/Burmese-language">Burmese</a>, which is a tonal language and spoken by the residents in plain area and as a second language, by majority of individuals living in the hill areas.          <description><![CDATA[<p><br/></p><p>In lieu of anti colonial settlement clothing is described by a transformed key term in the life of Burmese inhabitants. ("Burmese clothing," 2024)</p><p>Talking about the traditional dress of the Burmese, Yaw longyi which basically originates from the Yaw region  and Pinni taikpon which is a fawn colored jacket, not having collar considered as national costume.("Burmese clothing," 2024)</p><p>Sentiments of people are associated with the traditional wear of clothing.</p><p>After the colonial period, in the independent nation, a revolution evolves and people modernize their clothing style, in addition to this government encouraged the traditional wearing by both male and female.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Talking about the food, there is a wide ranging array of dishes which includes curries, salads, soups and a lot of vegetables that are traditionally put in plate with white rice.("Burmese cuisine," 2023)</p><p>Mohinga is one of the popular dish and is also titled as the national dish, which is basically mixture of few ingredients including a fragrant fish, a lemongrass and rice noodle soup. locals usually love to consume this delicious dish in their breakfast.          <description><![CDATA[<p>One common health concern which is observed among Burmese upon their arrival in Australia is <strong><em>Helicobacter pylori </em></strong>infection. ( Schulz et al., 2024)</p><p>It is a common type of bacteria that basically attacks the stomach lining and can damage the tissue present in the stomach. It can transmit through contact with the infected person, dirty food, contaminated water, poop or vomit, not maintaining the proper hygiene.("H. pylori: Causes, symptoms, treatment," 2009)</p><p><strong>TREATMENT:</strong></p><p><strong>This disease</strong> can be treated with the combination of antibiotics and PPI proton pump inhibitor.</p><p>ANTIBIOTICS: amoxicillin, clarithromycin (Biaxin®), metronidazole (Flagyl®) and tetracycline.</p><p>PPI: lansoprazole (Prevacid®), omeprazole (Prilosec®), pantoprazole (Protonix®), rabeprazole (Aciphex®) or esomeprazole (Nexium®).("H.          <description><![CDATA[<p>For me, the most significant learning was the role of collectivist communities.</p><p>I have developed my understanding of shared decisions that includes family and community.</p><p>I have enriched my ability to recognize the crucial role of family.</p><p>Having learned about the family, I feel that family may need to be involved in health related decisions.
