1-The land lady screamed because she was shocked. The tugboat captain was frightened because he was scared of spiders and was about to fall. The cook was disgusted because she was trying to dust Sophie off. The young woman was calm as she smiled at Sophie and let her relax in her knitting basket.

2-Sophie felt lonely and she thought she was unwanted when the land lady screamed at her. Sophie felt disappointed that the captain was frightened. The captain climbed up the windowsill and was about to fall. Sophie did not want anyone fall on her account so she left. Sophie felt hurt when the cook dusted her and she fell. 2- I think Salma is Feeling Quite Optimistic and Hopeful as I think she can Still Only see Grass And goop As She Said, "More Grass and Goop' But Still Shes Optimistic About Finding the Creatures and Hopeful That She Can Make Out a crab or two.

3- Mo Is Feeling Way More Positive and Open Minded To say the least, I think so as She Really Was Skeptical About Mr. Mo, but at the end of the story she was open minded Enough To give it a try. As mentioned before she didn't Like her surroundings as it was too muddy and goopy for her but at the end, she took the mudflat for its positives and Started Spotting Sea creatures together. This Is How I Think She Changed.
